Reactive APM alone can miss silent breakage between deploys. This pack gives you a parameterized Elastic Synthetics project for critical user journeys—login and checkout-style flows—so you can test business paths proactively and feed journey availability SLOs.
When to use it
Use this download when you need uptime on a customer-facing process and want step names that align with the E2E Observability Correlation Keys spine (browse, add_to_cart, checkout, payment, fulfillment). Pair it with User Journey SLO Templates for error budgets on tag journey:checkout.
Why it helps
- Closes the synthetics gap in the End-to-End Observability story on Elastic Content Share.
- Keeps selectors and URLs in
params—never hardcodes a customer site. - Includes browser journeys plus lightweight HTTP API health monitors.
What is included
synthetics.config.ts— project defaults and environment overrides.journeys/checkout.journey.ts— multi-step checkout journey with correlation-aligned step names.journeys/login.journey.ts— parameterized login journey.lightweight/api-health.yml— HTTP monitors tagged for SLO filtering.package.json,README.md,LICENSE.txt.
