Contribute Elastic content to the community
Content creators on Elastic Content Share are Elastic users who share useful dashboards, detection rules, Logstash pipelines, Watcher alerts, Vega visualizations, AI resources, or other Elastic Stack examples with the community.
After registration, approved creators can use the creator dashboard to manage submissions. The goal is simple: make practical Elastic knowledge easier to find, reuse, and improve.
Why share your Elastic content?
If you solved a problem once, another Elastic user may face the same problem tomorrow. Sharing your content can save that person hours of work. It can also help you build reputation in the Elastic community and get feedback from people using similar data.
Good contributions explain the use case, expected data, compatible Elastic version, and review steps. That context makes a dashboard, rule, or pipeline more useful than a file alone.
Who becomes an Elastic content creator?
Creators include Elastic consultants, security researchers, observability engineers, DevOps teams, platform teams, developers, and community enthusiasts. You do not need an Elastic certification to contribute. You only need something useful and clear to share.
Popular contribution types include Kibana dashboards, Elastic Security detections, Logstash pipelines, Watcher examples, Canvas workpads, Vega visualizations, ES|QL examples, and AI-assisted Elastic workflows.
How does the submission process work?
- Register or log in through the creator dashboard below.
- Open Add your Elastic content.
- Describe the use case, upload the file, add categories and version details, and include screenshots when possible.
- After review, accepted content appears in the right download category.
Tips for successful contributions
Write the description for users, not only for yourself. Explain the problem, when to use the content, what data it expects, and what outcome the user should see. Include a screenshot, a source link, and version information if you know it.
Before uploading, read the upload guide. It explains accepted file formats, ZIP requirements, automatic deployment notes, and what reviewers check before content goes live.
